At Ace, Japanese artisans have been making suitcases by hand for over fifty years, employing meticulous, highly skilled techniques at the Akahira Factory in Hokkaido, Japan’s only domestic suitcase factory.
Ace embodies the highest level of reliability in product manufacturing, upheld through extensive quality testing within the factory. The stylish, easy-to-use design of the Proteca was the brainchild of Oki Sato, the founder of the Nendo design studio. Sato was selected as one of "The 100 Most Respected Japanese" by Newsweek Japan.
